Today, January 17th 2008. Its a weekend holiday here in Oman. It's raining badly till i could not go to school. In couple days, i would say "Hello to school" and "Goodbye to hommy"(home)

This year, we are having a musicale in music. The tale of the year is Emperor's New Clothes. The emperor's new clothes basically is a Danish fairy tale written by Hans Christian Andersen and first published in 1837, as part of Eventyr, fortale on Born. The moral of the story is that just because the whole world believes that something is true, it doesn't mean that it is, and perhaps also that one should not refrain from asking a question that may, at the time, be considered to be stupid by the majority.

Tickets avaible. The show is on March 12, 13.

In Math, we are working on geometry. We're learning how many degrees in each shape. For example, a triangle owns 60 degrees. If a circle, it has 360 degrees.

Acute angles means an angle that must be anything under 90 degrees. Obtuse angle is angle that is between 91 degrees to 180 degrees. If its a reflex angle, its an agle that in between 181 degrees to whatever i dont know.

Geometry 2-D and 3-D:
Characteristics of polygyns, lines, angle construction and measuremnet, congruence and symmetry, circle characteristics, area/perimeter/volumes, construction.

In Social studies, we are learning about how does it feels being the governer of a country. We making imaginary country but we're only allowed to use from 3 colony. The spain, french and british. My group chooses the british colony and our country names Elizabeth Town as in representing Queen Elizabeth. Well at the moment, we are just working on making flag. In social studies, my job is a recorder and part of the banker. As a recorder, i have to write diaries, record whats new in our country.Recorder is the most important job or else our point is gone. WHY AM I CHOOSEN FOR THIS JOB? WHY?? I am also working part with the banker. Who get to trade with other colony. It's fun. Mutaz is the banker. Josh is the mapper and governer and Danni would be the Vice Governer and trader.

For french, we are learning about clothes. Such as:
pants- le pantaloon
skirt- le jupe
shirt- la t-shirt
track suit- le jogging
and more......

This year in french its a lot of fun rather than last year. There are more new people. We use to have 3 people and im the only girl. But then, Masha and Imad jumped in and in January, Spencer and Apoorv appear. French, the big deal for everyone is getting 30 coupons. Then we get to have a big celebration. Last time, we collect up to 60 coupons for a movie. A movie in french, Le Punaise Vie. If you've watch The Bugs Life, that's the one.

My favourite subject is Language Art. Language art mainly is about Reading and Writing. For January, reading and writing are combined. We will be having a Wax Museum Presentation later in early Febuary. The point is, we have to choose a biography book. It must be a historic magnificent person. Everybody's choosing their own person like my character would be Elvis Presley. I've been reading about his life and its pretty unbelivable. He is the Rock 'n' Roll KING because he's the first person who invented rock n roll music. He's american actor and singer from Memphis, Tennesse that active 1954–1977. He come from a poor family and when he enter the city talent's show, his population grew up really fast. When, he dies, the florist ran out of flowers. That was my favourite part.

I choose him because i think it would be fun acting like him. With the hair, guitar and the way he talk? "As long as rock n roll lasts, i'll continue doing it. As long as that's what the people want. At school, the best part is Read Aloud. Mr.Lee read out LOUD. We are reading a book called Running out of time. If you've read that book, its a great one. Jessie lives with her family in the frontier village of Clifton, Indiana, in 1840 or so she believes. When diphtheria strikes the village and the children of Clifton start dying, Jessie's mother reveals a shocking secret. It's actually 1996, and they are living in a reconstructed village that serves as a tourist site. In the world outside, medicine exists that can cure the dread disease, and Jessie's mother is sending her on a dangerous mission to bring back help.
But beyond the walls of Clifton, Jessie discovers a world even more alien and threatening than she could have imagined, and soon she finds her own life in jeopardy. Can she get help before the children of Clifton, and Jessie herself, run out of time? I'm not telling.... Besides, we dont even get to that part yet. We will soon. =)=)
